Who’s This Guy?

I was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, and have since worked as a soldier, consultant, businessman, and quality expert. It’s a career path that makes perfect sense if you don’t think about it too hard. I am also, by long and dedicated practice, a dreadful golfer.

These days I write fiction. Short stories in every genre under the sun, because apparently I lack the discipline to pick a lane. Novels too, on the way in 2027. The novels, so far, are upmarket fiction.

My stories have appeared in Freedom Fiction, Literally Stories, Defenestration, Fiction on the Web, and The Colored Lens, and one of them won a Reedsy short story contest, a fact I will be mentioning at parties for the foreseeable future.

I live in Burlington, Ontario, with my kid and a really demanding cat.
